Today is Valentin’s day... and as a start I must admit I’m not a huge fan of this “tradition”.
I don’t really like when people tell me when and how to love… If you ask me, Valentine's day should be everyday (love you Maeva, tell them!)!
Anyway, we love Love and love so much that we wanted to offer you a lovely love mixtape, to play to the one(s) you love or hearts to be conquered.
“Le quart d’heure américain” (literally The American quarter-hour) was the time, during our French teenage parties, when you could invite your true love to dance closely on (mostly American) love songs. Notice that at the beginning it was the 15minutes when girls could invite boys... But then everybody made his own rules. It was the time to discover love, sensuality and create stories for weeks... the time of sweaty hands and broken hearts.
It might sound a little bit cheesy but use carefully! If possible in a dark environment. To play it the French way, listen to the mixtape during a fat-electro-music party (any noisy sound will be ok), with headphones just for your partner(s) and you.
