Your trip in one sentence
A quick stop to KL on my way to Bangkok

Why did you travel there ?
It was on the way to Bangkok so I figured I'd might as well stopped

How did you get there ?
Took a bus from Singapore which was easy, cheap and fast

Where did you sleep ?
I stayed for one night at the Matahari Lodge and for one night at Suzi's guesthouse. Two good but very typical backpacker hostels.

What was the biggest cultural shock ?
I was very impressed by the deep mix of the three main cultures constituting Malaysia: Malays, Chinese and Indians.

What was your most interesting encounter ?
Four kids who invited me at their table while I was waiting for the rain to stop in a MacDonald's. They asked me a lot of questions about France, my trip and my girlfriend... Awesome kids! I was very impressed by their knowledge of English and their humor.

Tell us a story that happened to you there
Nothing exciting really...

What did you do at night ?
Wandered around for a bit but I was quite tired after walking all day.

Your favourite local food ?
I loved the Chinese and Indian food. I did stop by a Burger King for a whopper too...

Will you go again ?
I will go if I can have people showing me around as I'd like to discover a bit the less touristy stuff there...
