Your trip in one sentence
My first time in Vienna, discovering that it was a wonderful city to spend your summer, with a lot of parks, gardens, the Danube river, outdoor restaurant & bars...

Why did you travel there ?
I was invited by the Vienna Tourism Board for a crazy blogtrip, in order to discover that Vienna isn't only an old & traditional city

How did you get there ?
By plane (Air Berlin)

Where did you sleep ?
At the wonderful 25 hours hotel.
This place has beautiful and huge rooms with a circus design, and a big terrace on the rooftop to have drinks and see the whole city

What was the biggest cultural shock ?
The mix between the historical museums and buildings, and the modern architecture, the street art..
Especially in the MuseumsQuartier area.

What was your most interesting encounter ?
I met Astrid, from Superfly FM (Viennese radio station).
She interviewed me about Hejorama, and we met her again at Volksgarten pavillon on a Friday night.

Tell us a story that happened to you there
I watched the Euro 2012 semifinal with other travelers at the Danube Canal (Holy Moly restaurant, on a converted transport ship).
It was funny, because everyone along the canal was watching this match, in an exciting atmosphere!

What did you do at night ?
I drunk cocktails and "aperol" :)

What were your cultural activities ?
The MuseumsQuartier, especially the Mumok (Modern Arts Museum).

Which song illustrates best your trip ?
Soulwax 'A Fifth of Beethoven'

Mix between history and modernity!

Your favourite local word ?
Schnitzel

Your favourite local food ?
Schnitzel!

Your favourite place ?
The MuseumsQuartier area, especially during night, with a lot of people drinking on the "Enzis" in a nice atmosphere.

And also the Old Danube, where you can rent boats, paddle boat, and go swimming!

Will you go again ?
For sure!
