In NYC after Osama Bin Laden’s death
I arrived in NYC exactly three days ago to establish a temporary mobile office for Hejorama, meet people and create content. I was far from thinking that the first videos I would make there would be in Ground Zero where people gathered after hearing that America’s most wanted enemy had been killed during the night.
Yes, Osama Bin Laden was shot dead by the Navy Seals during a covert operation in Abbottabad, Pakistan last night.
I’ll be really honest, I partied a lot this weekend and I went to bed quite early on Sunday night so I actually only heard the news on Monday around noon. Of course, I immediately took my camera and went to Ground Zero.
I didn’t see much difference there that when I went in the area last year. There was a lot of tourists as usual, and always a lot of policemen. I guess the main difference was that there was also a lot of journalists. And patriots. Just check the video…
For me one question remains, what does it change?
