Three weeks ago, I went to Fecamp, a port city situated in Normandy (Northern France), in order to relax and spend good times with another member of Hejorama (Ben!) and his family. We didn’t know, but it was the Herring Day!
An occasion to meet Normans and Dutch sailors, to taste fried and smoked herring, and discover this funny and interesting tradition that traveled from Scotland to France…
