Owen Davey is a brilliant British illustrator based in Bristol. We like his work a lot and especially his maps of course. You can see some samples of those here but you should definitely visit his website and blog for more great maps and awesome illustrations in general.

We also loved the books covers that he made for Orange, simply gorgeous! He makes a lot of really cool illustrations for them which shows an unexpected good taste for such a big corporate brand.
